We checked Diagon and Knocturn as best we could, as well as any places Sirius knew of that the WCU had on record as places Fenrir had been spotted recently. No luck.

Private to everyone who got an invite to James's party.
I'm sure you've all gotten your invitations by now and even though I'm not usually big on making people responday see voo play I'm going to have wards up so I need to know if you're coming or not. I'm having it at mum and dad's since their back yard is big enough for a pitch AND a fire, and the inside is more baby friendly. If you tap the invitation twice you can see the address.
Also, on the the MORE IMPORTANT MATTER AT HAND, we need people dibsing on the Quidditch spots so I can figure out if I need to invite people to specifically play a certain position. Also, if we've got more than three Chasers or two beaters or whatever per team, who the fuck cares? The MORE THE MERRIER! Here's what I've got so far:

Sorry I dodged out so quickly last night. Caradoc said he'd work with me on the spell so I won't be behind or anything.

I've got some new wards up on the house that are tricky as fuck and to get in you'll have to have a rock in your pocket from the garden path that leads up to the house. I've made them all pretty and red and gold so you won't ever get confused. I know it's a pain but I'm not going to risk anyone else getting in here to nab Harry. I'll owl them out later today and if you never plan on coming over feel free to owl it right back, I won't be insulted. Otherwise, keep it, and it should let you in.
Was thinking it's about time I had people over for a back yard Quidditch match and autumn party to try to get things back to normal around here, or as normal as they can be. Alcohol, the biggest fire we can manage, flying till it's dark, all the food we can roast, floating pumpkins-- the whole works.

I cleaned up today. Moved some pictures around... put away some of Lily's things. It's hard but she wouldn't want me living like this. Merlin fuck, if she walked in right now and saw what I was doing she'd kick my arse across the kitchen. I know that. I know she'd want me to try and move on and if she comes back because she's alive she'll be proud I handled it like a fucking man and if she's up on a cloud somewhere then she'll be proud that I managed to be the sort of dad she'd have wanted for Harry.
Either way, no more of this moping shit. It's time to put on my big boy panties and deal with reality.

Harry smiled today. I'd put him down on a blanket to go grab his bottle and when I came back in it was like he recognized me or something and then there it was... a gummy little grin. Sort of made him look like a jack-o-lantern but it was the cutest damn thing I'd ever seen.
Just wish Lils had been here to see it too.

I realize there's no way I could possibly appear unbiased, since Lils is my wife and I love her, but even if she was a criminal, which she isn't, now that the truth has come out, why are the Death Eaters still holding the people they kidnapped?
Last I checked, taking someone in the middle of the night and holding them against their will, and doing fuck know what else to them is still illegal. And while the crimes of my wife are still mostly alleged what the Death Eaters did is well fucking documented.
